Our morning Will Power Cocktail will boost your metabolism, mineral absorption ability, improve gut health, regulate blood sugar, and taste like total garbage.  

Hence, you'll need some Will Power to down it.

Apple Cider Vinegar Recipe:

Base Cocktail:
1 Tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar  (Braggs or organic unpasteurized)
1/4 Teaspoon of Cayenne Pepper (little more if you're daring)
A Pinch of Himalayan Pink Salt
A few drops of water to dilute the acidity a bit (this is up to you)

Getting Fancy:
Add a bit of fresh ginger (yum!)
Add honey (get some good local honey from your local farmer's market or organic grocery)

Keep these things out of your ACV Drink:
  • Tumeric - You can't really get good Tumeric in CT (or anywhere on the East Coast) easily, so don't sweat it!
  • Tequilla - A great morning probiotic, but take that alone! And not before work...
  • Fear - It's going to taste like total garbage, summon some Will Power and down it!

Use The Best  Ingredients

We have tried many brands of both apple cider vinegar AND Himalayan pink salt. There's not much of a different in taste between pasteurized and unpasteurized apple cider vinegar, but unpasteurized offers more health benefits, so we like to go with the real stuff- unpasteurized. Here are our favorite kinds of Apple Cider Vinegar:
Bragg Organic Apple Cider Vinegar is the go-to in our opinion. It has the most bearable taste, but more importantly it's unpasteurized so it offers 100% of the health benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar. You'll notice we threw in some other Apple Cider Vinegar products, like Goli Gummies and a Powdered Mix if you aren't ready to jump in head first and start making cocktails quite yet. But if you can suck it up and drink Bragg, we highly recommend it. 

Containing more than 80 minerals including important minerals and elements, including calcium, potassium, and iron, Himalayan Pink salt is a great way to boost the health value of anything you drink. Early in the morning having some Himalayan Pink salt will also help with water retention throughout the day to help you avoid getting dehydrated.

Sherpa is one of our favorite brands of Himalayan Pink salt because it is certified imported and they offer extra fine grain, which makes it easy to dissolve in a drink. Here are a few more Himalayan Pink salt brands that our clients enjoy. Just remember, when purchasing your Himalayan Pink salt, it needs to be certified imported, non-GMO, and organic. Always look for extra fine grain so that mixing is easier- unless you're making
margaritas! ​
